We've had an eventful and exhausting morning at the Discord.
One of our Discord admins fell victim to a new Discord exploit which enabled somebody to swipe their active OAuth keys and bypass security measures such as 2FA.
During this attack, phishing links were posted and channels were deleted or altered.
Kilo was able to quickly regain control of the situation to hopefully minimize the impact of the intrusion.
There isn't a lot that can be done to prevent an attack like this, but rest assured we are re-evaluating our internal security policies and making changes where we can. This will make us better.
Our sincerest apologies to anyone who was affected by the spam, links or other unfortunate events from this morning.
The Evmos core dev team has had a really busy time period recently, and we need to take some time to get stuff done, as such there will be no Community Call tomorrow.
