Hey Everyone, I want to share a new project that went live on Evmos this week that I am super excited about called Tashi. Tashi is a lending protocol built by the Rome Blockchain Labs Team (the team that built Benqi on Avalanche and Moonwell on Moonbeam) and they just launched their genesis pools for ATOM and EVMOS deposits yesterday with many more assets like wBTC, wETH, USDC, etc being supported with the full launch next month. For lenders interested in yield opportunities, TASHI is allocating 2.5% of their token supply towards lenders that deposit ATOM or EVMOS in the next two weeks until July 5th and as a result APYs are currently 3,000+%. In order to take advantage of the yields all you have to do is lend your assets through TASHI for the next 3 months! For those looking for investment opportunities, TASHI will be launching a public fundraise with the support of Tokensoft July 4-6th which will be open to non-US persons. The reason I am super excited for TASHI is because they not only bring their technical expertise to the community but they also bring their depth of knowledge from growing other really strong communities and it’s exciting to see a strong community already coming to support this launch! As many of you are already aware, the first year of Evmos was highly inflationary, but that is about to change! 🕔 Time: Epoch 457 - June 1st, 7PM UTC The inflation distribution for staking, usage incentives and community pool is implemented through an exponential formula, a.k.a. the Half Life. Every year, the inflation halves, with a target to issue 1 billion Evmos tokens in 4 years. DoraHacks EVM Extensions Hackathon is Live The DoraHacks EVM Extensions hackathon is now live and offering a prize pool of $98,000. The hackathon encourages developers to create innovative solutions using EVM Extensions. The deadline for submissions is May 26th. Learn more here. Revert Finance Update After the launch of Forge, the community approved a grant for Revert’s integration with the DEX. Significant progress has been made on the roadmap, with the first three milestones completed. These include deploying liquidity incentive tools like a staker contract and frontend, enhancing analytics and indexing of top positions for improved investment tracking, and rolling out advanced position management features like a backtester and auto-compounding bots. The final milestone, integration with the Keplr wallet, is pending and expected to complete within the next four months, promising secure and user-friendly asset management for users.
